Objective To explore the factors affecting the survival of patients with Ph-positive chronic myelogenous leukemia (CGL). Methods A single factor prognostic analysis was performed on clinical signs, blood routine and bone marrow imaging of 209 patients with CGL. Then a multifactorial comprehensive analysis was performed using a significant single factor COX regression model. Results The median survival time of 209 patients was 57 months (range 3 to 179 months), and the 5-year survival rate was 48%. After comprehensive analysis of COX regression, peripheral blood blasts, promyelocytes, nucleated erythrocytes and myeloid blasts (≥0 4) were the four major factors affecting survival. According to the scoring index formula, the scores were divided into low-risk, moderate-risk, and high-risk groups. The median survival time was 76.0, 56.0, and 31.5 months (P < 0.01). The 5-year survival rate was 70. 42%, 46.30 % and 18.18% (P < 0.01). Conclusion The formula of prognostic score index suitable for CGL patients in China was proposed.
