在21世纪的曙光到来之际,洗净百年殖民屈辱的香港,终于回到祖国母亲的怀抱。香港回归是全中国人民值得自豪的一件大事,它在政治上、经济上都将产生重大而深远的影响。 香港是当今亚洲“四小龙”之一,香港同胞所创造的经济奇迹令世人瞩目。目前香港经济繁荣活跃,金融商贸发达,交通信息便捷,以国际金融、贸易、航运、信息中心著称。这不仅在亚洲,在整个世界都有重要的影响。香港可以说是中国人的骄傲。 重庆与香港远隔千里,但两地经济贸易往来和合作交流源远流长。抗战时期,重庆作为大后方,与香港建立了空中走廊,大量物资包括军需物品通过香港周转,两地人员交往十分频繁。新中国成立之初,许多身居海外的爱国民主人士,均通过香港回到祖国、回到重庆。可以说香港是连接重庆至海外的重要桥梁。改革开放以来,两地经济、贸易、教育、科技、文化等各个领域的合作不断发展。特别是九十年代,重庆加快开放步伐,与香港的经贸合作更是与日俱增,以’93重庆(香港)经贸招商会的圆满成功为新的起点,渝港合作关系进入到一个新的发展时期。
At the dawn of the 21st century, Hong Kong, which has washed away 100 years of colonialism and humiliation, has finally returned to the motherland of the motherland. The return of Hong Kong is a major event for which the Chinese people are proud. It will have both significant and far-reaching political and economic impact. Hong Kong is one of the “four little dragons” in Asia today. The economic miracle created by Hong Kong compatriots has drawn world attention. At present, Hong Kong has an active economy, developed financial trade and convenient transportation information and is well known for its international financial, trade, shipping and information centers. This has an important influence not only in Asia but also in the entire world. Hong Kong can be said to be the pride of Chinese people. There is a thousand miles between Chongqing and Hong Kong, but the economic, trade, and cooperation between the two places goes back to ancient times. During the war of resistance against Japan, Chongqing, as the great rear, established an air corridor with Hong Kong. A large number of supplies, including military supplies, were circulated through Hong Kong and personnel exchanges between the two places were frequent. At the very beginning of the founding of New China, many patriotic and democrats living overseas returned to their home country through Hong Kong and returned to Chongqing. It can be said that Hong Kong is an important bridge connecting Chongqing to overseas. Since the reform and opening up, the cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, education, science and technology, culture between the two places has been continuously developing. Especially in the 1990s, as Chongqing accelerated its pace of opening up, its economic and trade cooperation with Hong Kong increased even more. With the successful outcome of the ’93 Chongqing (Hong Kong) Trade and Investment Fair as a new starting point, the cooperation between Hong Kong and Hong Kong entered a new period of development.
