β型干扰素(Interferon-β,IFN-β)是主要由成纤维细胞产生的细胞因子,属于单一基因编码产生的蛋白质,可通过干扰病毒RNA或DNA复制而抑制病毒生长,并可显著增强NK细胞杀伤活性,通过促进MHCⅠ类分子表达而增强CTL对病毒感染细胞的识别和杀伤作用.临床上,IFN-β已用于多种疾病的治疗,对多发性硬化病(MS)治疗效果较好,为FDA批准的用于MS治疗唯一的生物制品类药物.另外,对多种病毒感染如HCV、HBV、HPV、HIV、HSV等都有不同的疗效.此外,IFN-β还有一定的抗肿瘤作用,对非小细胞型肺癌、乳腺癌、喉癌、结肠癌、肾癌等都有一定的疗效.本文从治疗MS、抗病毒以及抗肿瘤等多方面综述IFN-β临床应用的研究进展,
