A type that was formally named by the agricultural engineer as a ventilated solar storage wall was recently successfully researched at the College of Agriculture and Technology in Ontario, Canada. In the sunny winter, this solar collector can provide all the thermal energy needed to maintain the optimum temperature of the house. And also can store a lot of heat released at night. This wall can be attached to the walls of livestock houses, rural shops and even new buildings, and does not require special building materials. As an additional wall, it is best to face the south just past the original wall. However, the positive and negative angles of 20 to 30 degrees are also allowed without losing a lot of solar energy. Through the installation of the test swine in the college, the effect was good: the solar collector was 8 inches high and covered the south wall of the pig building. In winter, 50% of the heat required in a 26 x 60 square foot house is provided. The key part of the heating storage wall is a double-hollow hollow foam concrete brick. The bricks are 10 inches thick, 25% more hollow space than ordinary cement bricks, and 75% more heat storage capacity. In the sunny winter day, the room temperature can reach 13°C.
