绵竹年画是我国四大年画之一,早在2006年就被列入国家第一批非物质文化遗产名录。但是随着现代审美观念的改变和市场化的影响,绵竹年画也难逃日渐衰落的命运,如何重现绵竹年画昔日名震海外的辉煌,这个艰巨的任务虽有许多文艺工作者开始介入,当地政府也与当地民间艺人联合起来对绵竹年画进行了保护性的传承以及市场的开拓,但是当中还是有不足的地方亟待解决。一、绵竹年画现状初探1、年画行业自身的发展
