提到液态金属,最被大家熟知的就是水银。近日,中国科学院理化技术研究所和清华大学医学院联合研究小组发现,液态金属可在“吞食”少量物质后以可变形机器形态长时间高速运动,实现无需外部电力的自主运动。由于液态金属机器人可以实现不同形态之间的自由转换,以执行高难度的特殊任务,因此可以在未来广泛应用于军事、医疗与科学探索等多种领域的多元场景。到那时,比“大白”更贴心的液态金属机器人不仅可以扮演柔性执行器,穿过门缝找到你,还可以模拟远在天边的亲友来与你握手、拥抱。
Mention is made of liquid metal, most commonly known as mercury. Recently, a joint research group of the Institute of Physical and Chemical Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University found that liquid metal can move in high speed for a long time in a deformable machine after a small amount of “swallowed” substances, thereby enabling autonomous movement without external power. Because liquid metal robots can freely convert between different forms to perform difficult special tasks, they can be widely used in diverse fields such as military, medical and scientific exploration in the future. By that time, the liquid metal robots that are more intimate than “Da Bai” can not only act as flexible actuators, find you through the door opening, but also simulate the relatives and friends far away from the sky to shake hands and hug you.
