From April to May this year, under the specific leadership of the Pudong New Area Youth Affairs Department, the Youth League Youth League Committee and the first-year senior group of the school launched a 200-student program for four senior high school students who are going to issue ID cards. A series of adult awareness education activities achieved quite good results. Originally, the issuance of a resident identity card for citizens of the People’s Republic of China who have reached the age of sixteen is, for most people, only routine: taking pictures, obtaining certificates, and so on. However, we believe that the acquisition of a resident identity card means that a person changes from childish to mature and from underage to adult, meaning that one person will begin to assume duties and responsibilities to the society, family and individuals. The issuance of identity cards should be a solemn, sacred, and educational significance. Turning a seemingly ordinary routine into an educational series of activities is an indispensable part of our moral education workers.
