普遍语法在第二语言习得中的作用一直是学界争论的焦点问题之一,概述起来主要有以下几种观点:完全可及、不可及、部分可及以及间接可及,但这几种观点均无法完全反映二语习得的全部事实。事实上,不存在普遍语法是否可及的问题,普遍语法是恒定的,它在二语习得或外语学习中以某种方式起作用。因而,在外语教学中,教师应重视语言输入以及某些具体的语法现象和文化知识,以帮助学习者更好地学习外语。
