In recent years, the number of essays on translation has risen sharply from the ideological point of view, but many are generalizations, leading to pan-ideological tendencies in translation studies. This article is divided into three parts to discuss the general situation of domestic translation studies and ideology and pan-ideology, the concrete manifestation of pan-ideology in translation studies and how to avoid pan-ideology in translation studies. Finally, The treatment of the word Communist in Modern Chinese Fiction’s two versions of Taiwanese and Chinese versions explores how translation studies determine ideology and analyze ideological features, thereby categorizing it and clarifying it.
