序楼兰古国是位于中国古代西域地区的一个城邦小国,西南通且末、精绝、拘弥、于阗,北通车师,西北通焉耆,东当白龙堆,通敦煌,处于早期丝绸之路的重要地段。楼兰之国名,最早见于历史记载是在西汉时期,《史记·匈奴列传》记载了公元前176年匈奴冒顿单于给汉文帝的一封信,信中提到:“今以小吏之败约故,罚右贤王,使之西求月氏击之。以天之福,吏卒良,马强力,以夷灭月氏,尽斩杀降下之。定楼兰、乌孙、呼揭及其旁二十六国,皆以为匈奴,诸引弓之民,并为一家。”从这段记载可见,
