From October to the end of November 2005, I directed the “Physicist” by the Swiss playwright Fredi Di Matt in the Chengde Repertory Theater for eleven young actors. “Physicist” is a drama with two scenes and eighteen characters. The performance time (if a line is not deleted) is about two and a half hours. The plot occurred in World War II, the location in Europe, around a “beautiful scenery, it is refreshing” asylum.
