古人云:学无止境,学海无涯.学习对于编辑工作者至关重要.首先,这是编辑职业责任的需要.众所周知,我们的社会已经进入知识经济时代,科技、文化、经济、商业、教育等各个领域都以前所未有的速度发展着、变化着,新学科、新概念、新理论、新方法层出不穷,知识的更迭令人目不暇接.作为文化传播工作者的图书编辑,肩负着向大众传播知识、传播文化的使命.如果仅仅靠在校园中学到的知识,不去及时了解和学习这些新事物、新知识,显然很难承担这一使命.读者的需要和欣赏口味也会随着时代的发展而变化,编辑着不更新知识,更新观念,跟上时代的步伐
