随着我国成功举办2008年北京奥运会,我国在体育事业上与其他国家的合作与交流日益加强,体育国际化的趋势越来越明显。为了推动我国体育事业国际化的进程,我国需要更多懂体育、英语好的人才为各种赛事服务。因此,院校、教师应加强体育英语课程的建设和完善。院校、教师应在教学方法、教学内容、现代化教辅手段、评价考核方式、教材建设和师资培养等方面采取适当措施,以促进体育英语课程的长足发展。
As China successfully hosts the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, China’s cooperation and exchanges with other countries in sports are increasingly strengthened, and the trend of internationalization of sports is increasingly evident. In order to promote the internationalization of China’s sports industry, China needs more people who understand sports and English to serve various events. Therefore, institutions and teachers should strengthen the construction and improvement of sports English courses. Institutions and teachers should take appropriate measures in terms of teaching methods, teaching contents, modern teaching aids, assessment methods, textbook construction, and teacher training to promote the development of the sports English curriculum.
