我们大队一九七三年就进行了玉米隔行去雄验试,发现玉米去雄后,空秆少,穗大粒饱。一九七四年搞了三亩试验田,每亩实收6000株,去雄三分之二,亩产1068斤;一九七五年扩大到20亩,亩产855斤;为了再次验证高密度多去雄的效果,一九七六年又在20亩地上进行试验,结果875斤,连同上茬平播麦子亩产940,全年合计亩产达到1815斤。
In 1973, our brigade carried out an inter-test between maize and maize and found that after the maize went male, there were fewer empty stalks and large grains of spike.
