解放军二五五医院位于华北工业重镇唐山市,前身为华北军区第一后方医院,1953年3月被命名为中国人民解放军二五五医院。该院现编制床位140张,实际展开床位300张,设有15个科室、38个专业,拥有CT、脊柱镜、彩色B超、全自动生化分析仪、血气分析仪等大型医疗设备1600余台(件),总值达2500万元。该院不仅担负驻地部队的医疗保障任务,还承担北京军医学院、白求思军医学院、华北煤炭医学院、唐山卫生学校等多所医学院校的教学任务,是一所集医、教、研为一体的综合性驻军医院,1996年被唐山市人寿保险公司指定为定点医疗单位,2001年被唐山市评定为医疗保险定点医院。
The PLA 255 Hospital is located in Tangshan City, a major industrial city in North China. It was formerly known as the first rear hospital in the North China Military Region. In March 1953, it was named the 255th Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. The hospital is currently preparing 140 beds, actual deployment of 300 beds, 15 departments, 38 specialties, and more than 1600 large-scale medical equipment such as CT, spinescope, color B-mode ultrasound, automatic biochemical analyzer, and blood gas analyzer. The hospital not only undertakes the medical security task of the garrison, but also undertakes the teaching tasks of medical colleges such as Beijing Military Medical College, Baisi Sijun Medical College, North China Coal Medical College, and Tangshan Health School. It is a collection of medical, teaching, and research institutions. The comprehensive garrison hospital was designated as a designated medical unit by Tangshan Life Insurance Company in 1996. In 2001, it was rated as a designated hospital for medical insurance by Tangshan City.
