新疆北部福海地区处于西伯利亚与哈萨克斯坦两大古板块的汇聚带,构造活动强烈,属岛弧及弧后盆地构造环境。上古生界沉积盆地类型多种多样,有洋盆、残留海盆地、岛弧盆地、陆缘弧盆地及陆内裂陷盆地等;岩相类型齐全,深海、浅海、滨海、三角洲及河、湖、沼泽均有发育。沉积相带分布复杂,同一地区多种亚相交替发育形成混合亚相带。晚石炭世,海水彻底退出,陆相完全取代了海相,古气候也相应发生剧变。早二叠世末期基本上结束了古生代的沉积历史,普遍缺失晚二叠世的沉积。
The Fuhai area in the northern part of Xinjiang is located in the convergence zone of two ancient plates of Siberia and Kazakhstan with strong tectonic activity and belongs to the island arc and backarc basin tectonic environment. There are many types of sedimentary basins in the Upper Paleozoic, including oceanic basins, residual ocean basins, island arc basins, continental marginal arc basins and intracontinental rift basins. The facies types of the Upper Paleozoic are deep sea, shallow sea, coastal sea, delta and rivers and lakes Swamps have development. Sedimentary facies belt distribution is complex, multiple sub-facies in the same area alternately developed to form a mixed sub-facies belt. Late Carboniferous, sea water completely withdrawn, continental completely replaced the marine phase, paleoclimate also drastic changes. Late Early Permian basically ended the sedimentary history of the Paleozoic, generally missing Late Permian sediments.
