内蒙古自治区位于我国北部,北纬37°31′～52°21′,纬度高、海拔高,是典型的大陆型气候。四季明显,干旱少雨,气候冷凉,日照长,温差大,得天独厚的自然条件,适宜马铃薯的生长。同时由于蚜虫种类少,减少了病毒的传播媒介,病毒病害较轻。是我国理想的马铃薯种薯基地。内蒙古马铃薯种薯现已远销国内16个省、市、自治区,颇受种植者欢迎。
