理化检验物理分册1981年第6期登载了《某些脆性材料的抗压强度与抗拉强度之间的一个近似关系式——兼对第二强度理论的修正》一文(以下简称《关系》),该文认为目前人们对第二强度理论的提法和解释不够确切,因而要进行修正。将其断裂条件σ_1-v(σ_2+σ_3)=σ_b (1)应用于单向压缩状态,就得到抗拉强度σ_b,抗压强度σ_c和泊松比v的关系式: σ_b/σ_c=v (2)《关系》认为式(2)近似地表示了某些脆性材料这三个数值的关系。对此,我们想谈几点看法,与《关系》的作者和同行们共同探讨。 1 对于第二强度理论,的确存在着不同的提法和解释。至于《关系》所讲的修正,则不自今日始。这里仅举两个例子而不是作历史的考证。《关系》引用的费
