现代语言学的发展直接或间接地对外语教学产生影响。对语言的研究和分析描写不能不影响外语教学。现代语言学正从语言的研究发展到言语使用和跨文化交际的研究,呈现出向社会语言学、心理语言学、语用学、交际语言学和数理语言学等方向发展的总趋势。外语教学法流派是在相应的语言学流派的理论基础上形成的,是语言学理论在外语教学领城的运用。
The development of modern linguistics directly or indirectly affects foreign language teaching. The research and analysis of language can not but affect the foreign language teaching. Modern linguistics is developing from the study of language to the use of language and the study of intercultural communication, presenting the general tendency of developing towards social linguistics, psycholinguistics, pragmatics, communicative linguistics and mathematical linguistics. The foreign language pedagogy is formed on the theoretical basis of the corresponding linguistic schools and is the application of linguistic theories in the teaching of foreign language teaching.
