Tada has reported that central Kyushu is part of the Okinawa Trough that is expanding north-south, as crustal deformation that stretches north-south is observed in this area. Beppu - Shimabara Graben proved to be Okinawa Trough rift. Based on the deformation of the crust, this paper discusses quantitatively the expansion velocity and direction of the Okinawa Trough.
