介绍了一种用于射频电子直线加速器型FEL注入器的宽脉冲高功率速调管快速保护系统。首先简要地讨论了这种宽脉冲高功率速调管快速保护系统的要求,综述了目前仍在使用的几种保护方法,然后给出了本系统的基本原理、理论计算和电路设计。对于速调管输出功率的变化和一对检波器的不完全匹配对快速保护系统的影响,可以采取使用检波特性几乎线性的热载流子二极管及监控聚束器的驻波比的办法来解决。最后,给出了一些测试结果,表明该系统具有响应时间快(<2μs)、驻波比可调(1.5~2.0)、结构简单、抗干扰性能好的特点。该系统已成功地工作了两年多。
A wide pulse high power klystron rapid protection system for RF linear accelerator FEL injector is introduced. First of all, the requirements of such wide-pulse high-power klystron rapid protection system are briefly discussed. Several protection methods still used are summarized. Then the basic principle, theoretical calculation and circuit design of the system are given. For the klystron output power changes and an imperfect pair of detectors on the fast protection system, you can take the use of detection characteristics of nearly linear hot carrier diode and monitoring the standing wave ratio of the buncher solution . Finally, some test results are given, which show that the system has the characteristics of fast response time (<2μs) and adjustable standing wave ratio (1.5 ~ 2.0), simple structure and good anti-jamming performance. The system has been successfully working for more than two years.
