卧式195型柴油机的冷却方式采用水冷蒸发式,冷却是靠冷却水沸腾时蒸汽带走的汽化热来实现的,从而能自动维持一定的水温(100℃)。这种柴油机,工作中水箱里的水很快沸腾。但一些机手由于怕机温过高,经常打开机体上放水开关,放掉热水,添加冷水,以降低机温。这样做不好。机器冷却的目的是为了保证燃料燃烧而产生的高温不致于破坏机器零件的性能。机器冷却后,燃料燃烧所放出的热量会有一部分由冷却水带走而损失掉。
