用跨断层的地面短基线、短水准(测线上设有固定过渡桩)测量方法,观测到了鲜水河断裂带中虾拉沱地震断层的蠕动,结合考察该断裂全新世以来的宏观构造形变和现今地物变位,则表明观测场地一带虾拉沱地震断层以平均每年1厘米左右的速率蠕动。 该地震断层蠕动呈势性定向运动(反扭、逆冲)。蠕动的切向水平滑动分量与垂直分量之比基本保持在7:1左右。蠕动又是变速的,其速率的大小与本构造中强地震相关,并能衡量区域性应力的强弱。道孚地震前,其断层蠕动明显地显示“加速—反向”的变异现象。

Peristaltic tangential horizontal sliding component and the ratio of the vertical component remained at about 7: 1. Peristaltic is also variable speed, and the magnitude of its velocity is related to the strong earthquakes in this structure and can measure the strength of regional stress. Before the Daofu earthquake, its fault creep clearly showed “acceleration-reverse” variation.
