Power turbine is BBC’s latest supercharger technology, will be in Dalian diesel engine plant production 5S60MCE diesel engine application. To ensure that the aircraft and the VTR564A-32 turbocharger and power turbine NTC214 matching success, Dalian Diesel Engine Works will work together with the manufacturers. The combination of the Turbine NTC and the VTR-4A supercharger is a new diesel supercharger that can be reduced according to the experience of the world’s leading diesel engine manufacturer Sulzer for 6RTA58 diesel engines and SEMT-Pielstick for 4PC42 diesel engines Fuel consumption rate of 3%. When used on 5L70 diesel engines, MAN-B & W reduces fuel consumption by 2.4% for maximum continuous operating conditions (MCE) and reduces fuel consumption by 4% for maximum continuous operating conditions (MC).
