主持人语:近几年,在广播、电视以及新媒体的冲击下,传统报业发展环境越来越严峻,在传媒产业中的强势地位受到严重冲击。单纯应对激烈的市场竞争,已让处于困境中的报业力不从心,2007年底开始的新闻纸价格不断飙升,更使报业经营“雪上加霜”。面对新闻纸涨价带来的成本压力,报业如何应对?本期《前沿关注》栏目专门讨论“新闻纸涨价后的报纸应对策略”——报纸内容上要研究如何变同质为异质,办出各自的特色,走差异化竞争之路;通过强化内部管理和版面控制,降低成本,增加效益;通过寻找更加科学合理的营销策略,谋求有效发行;通过开展多元经营、非报经营,寻找和培植新的经济增长点;等等。暨南大学新闻与传播学院院长、原南方报业传媒集团“掌门人”范以锦等6位作者开出的“药方”或许对我们有所启示。
