Verticillium sp. Is a fungal soil-borne disease in which the germs invade the roots of tea trees and block the vascular bundles, causing the tea leaves to wilt. Buds of tea trees suffer from germination slow, thin, yellow leaves wilting, the latter off the whole plant leaves, light pole scorched; underground bark turn reddish-brown, non-clay. The roots of the xylem was first water-like, then turn brown dead, in the case of humidity, white moldy (mycelium). After continuous observation from 1983 to 1985, yellow leaf began to appear in mid-July, the peak of betel leaf from the end of July to early August, late August to September, dry branches. Since 1974-1985, I have died of more than 70 acres of tea trees, accounting for 5% of the tea plantation area. Each year, more than 50,000 kilograms of fresh tea are lost, accounting for 6.2% of the total output.
