中科院物理所的科学家在光子晶体中量子动力学性质方面取得了富有创新性的重要成果。专家认为“它处理了三维光子晶体中非常有意义的、具有挑战性的和困难的量子电动力学问题”。这一成果是由顾本源研究员及其合作者取得的,过去5年来,他们一直致力于光子晶体带隙结构和原子自发辐射动力学性质的研究。
Scientists at the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have made innovative and important achievements in the quantum-mechanical properties of photonic crystals. Experts say that “it addresses the very interesting, challenging and difficult problems of quantum electrodynamics in 3D photonic crystals.” This result was achieved by Gu Genyuan and his collaborators, who have been working for the photonic crystal band gap structure and atomic spontaneous emission kinetic properties for the past five years.
