“文化大革命”期间,中央机关大精简,人民银行和财政部合为一部。“文革”结束后,行、部分家,人民银行原行址已作它用,银行竟“无枝可依”了。20世纪80年代后期,时任中国人民银行行长的陈慕华,主持确定了新的行址(即今复兴门总行大楼),并且同时决定,将新行址大楼地下一层全部用作钱币博物馆展厅。1990年,新总行大楼即将竣工,5月,成立了中国钱币博物馆筹备委员会,年底,大厦落成,总行各部门陆续向新大楼搬
During the “Cultural Revolution”, the central government was streamlined, the People’s Bank of China and the Ministry of Finance merged into one. After the “Cultural Revolution” ended, some branches of the People’s Bank of China and the People’s Bank of China had made use of the original site, and the bank actually did not have a “stick”. In the late 1980s, Chen Muhua, then the governor of the People’s Bank of China, presided over the establishment of a new site (now the Fuxingmen Head Office Building) and at the same time decided to use all the underground floors of the new building as the coin museum exhibition hall. In 1990, the new head office building is nearing completion. In May, the Preparatory Committee of China’s Numismatic Museum was set up. By the end of the year, the building was completed and the head office departments gradually moved to the new building
