桂林旅游业作为广西旅游板块最重要的部分,旅游翻译一直对推动桂林乃至广西的旅游业发展起着举足轻重的作用。但桂林的各旅游景点却存在不少翻译不当甚至是翻译错误的现象。功能派翻译理论于20世纪70年代产生于德国,该理论认为好的翻译在于能够在目标语境中实现原文的预期功能与目的。本文从功能翻译理论的角度,对桂林旅游景点介绍的英译文本进行分析和研究,针对一些不当翻译现象提出修改意见。
Guilin Tourism As the most important part of Guangxi’s tourism sector, tourism translation has always played an important role in promoting the development of tourism in Guilin and Guangxi. However, there are many tourist attractions in Guilin, many translation errors or even translation of the phenomenon. The theory of functionalist translation, which originated in Germany in the 1970s, argues that good translation lies in the ability to achieve the intended function and purpose of the original text in the target context. From the perspective of functional translation theory, this article analyzes and studies the English version of the introduction of Guilin’s tourist attractions, and proposes amendments to some inappropriate translation phenomena.
