碧落碑书体以小篆为主,其次为古文,二者交相为用、融为一体。书者为求美观,或篆或古,信笔为之,且一字多形,错综复杂,遂致艰深难读,令常人望而却步。1981年秋,我陪饶宗颐(选堂)先生游晋南,至新绛,伫立于此碑前良久,既叹其书艺之精湛,复恨其古文之难识。后得观中华书局《汗简·古文四声韵》(1983年)一书所附之碑文拓本及紫禁城出版社《唐代石刻篆文》(1987年)所载故宫所藏明拓本,二者相校,粗可通读。后又于《金石萃编》(卷五十七)得览有宋以来欧阳修、赵明诚、汪由敦、顾炎武、董迪、钱大昕、王昶……等诸家题跋品评,乃知郑承规之释文亦多有可商
Bizi monument book mainly Xiaozhuan, followed by the ancient text, the two pay for each other to use, into one. Later on, “Jinshi Cui” (Volume 57) was reviewed and collected from Ouyang Xiu, Zhao Mingcheng, Wang Youdun, Gu Yanwu, Dong Di, Qian Daxin, Wang Chang, etc. from Song Dynasty More to be negotiable
