心血管疾病所致心肌损伤的共同特点,是具有完整收缩功能的心肌细胞数量相对或绝对减少,目前的治疗措施只能延缓疾病的进展。细胞替代疗法有望成为治疗损伤心脏的一种非常有前景的新方法。胚胎干细胞有无限增殖能力和心肌分化潜能,可作为心肌细胞替代疗法的一种细胞来源。动物实验显示胚胎干细胞源性心肌细胞移植可作为生物起搏器起搏心脏,或提高心肌梗死后动物存活率,改善心功能。

Animal experiments show that embryonic stem cell-derived cardiomyocyte transplantation can be used as pacemaker pacing heart, or improve animal survival after myocardial infarction, improve cardiac function.
