The red film and television represents the mainstream ideology of the country, with a clear class position and great charisma. The rich ideological and political content it contains is of great significance to establishing universal ideal and cultivating noble feelings for the entire people. This paper mainly analyzes the function of ideological and political education in the red film and television works in order to have a deep understanding of the main melody of red film and television.
