随着市场发展,香蕉种植业正在粤、桂、琼等地迅速发展。一些高寒丘陵地区,根据粉蕉粗生易种、耐寒、产值高的特点。则以粉蕉(又称西贡蕉、南蕉等)为开发对象。但是,最近国外一些蕉园发生香蕉枯萎病,并正在迅速传播蔓延。我国南方广东等省种蕉面积大,须警惕香蕉枯萎病的侵袭和传播,尤其由于去年高温少雨,更利于枯萎病流行,不但发生较重,且会出现成片枯死的现象。为防止枯萎病的危害,我们不仅应加强入境水果的检疫,还应引起各级领导和果农的高度警惕,采取有力措施,杜绝传播途径,以确保香蕉正常生产和丰收。
