报道峡东地区震旦系陡山沱组的两个宏体化石新层位.化石发现在湖北省秭归县三斗坪镇新测制的南华系-震旦系剖面的陡山沱组中.化石点分别位于陡山沱组下部及中部黑灰色钙质及泥质页岩夹层中,包括大量Chuaria和Tawuia等宏体化石,是层位低于“庙河生物群”的宏体化石新层位.这表明南沱冰期以后宏体多细胞生物的“复苏”和“辐射”是逐步实现的,最初以Chuaria等简单盘状宏体化石为主,逐步发展最终达到陡山沱晚期以多门类宏体化石辐射为特征的庙河生物群的水平.峡东地区震旦系陡山沱组宏体化石的新发现为相关地层的对比提供了新依据.
Reported two new macro-fossil beds of the Sinian Doushantuo Formation in the Gorge area, and was found in the Doushantuo Formation of the newly-developed South China-Sinian section in Sandouping, Zigui County, Hubei Province. The fossil sites are located in the lower part of the Doushantuo Formation and in the middle of the dark gray calcareous and argillaceous shale intercalations, including a large number of macro-fossils such as Chuaria and Tawuia. These fossils are the new macro-fossil strata that are lower than the Miaohe biota This indicates that the “recovery” and “radiation” of macrocyclic multicellular organisms after the Nantuo glaciation were gradually realized, initially dominated by simple disc-shaped macro-fossils such as Chuaria and gradually developed to multi-categories in the late Doushantuo Macroscopic fossil radiation characteristics of the Miaohe biota level.Xiandong area of Sinian Doushantuo macrofacies fossil new correlation provides a new basis for stratigraphic correlation.
