American Radio Company has developed a new type of mobile missile tracking radar, the model AN / MPS-36 type. Eight hours after its arrival at the destination, the AN / MPS-36 radar was put into operation to capture the activity and measure its trajectory and speed. It is the first instrumentation radar that has now been delivered to the U S Army’s White Sands missile launch site.
