北京市八一中学的前身是中国人民解放军晋察冀军区荣臻小学校,在聂荣臻元帅的关怀下,于1947年3月1日创建于河北省阜平县,1949年随部队进入北平,现在位于北京市海淀区中关村科技园区,占地面积13.3万平方米,建筑面积6万平方米。这所人民军队最早建立的学校,半个多世纪以来一直继承着军队优良的革命传统:思想领先,艰苦奋斗,严格要求,高度负责;一直不负荣臻元帅“继往开来、开拓无前”的殷切期望,将秉承传统与坚持创新结合起来。2001年4月,八一中学申办示范性普通高中校的建设方案顺利通过了专家组的评审、论证,并于2003年5月进入“北京市示范高中”行列。走进八一中学,我们既可以看到传统的革命光辉,也可以看到创新的先进示范,传统与现代的珠联璧合带给我们一个又一个惊奇……
The predecessor of the Beijing Bayi High School was the Chinese Academy of Military Affairs Jinchaji Military Area Ronghe Primary School. Under the care of Marshal Nie Rongzhen, it was founded in March 1st, 1947 in Chiping County, Hebei Province. In 1949, the troops entered Peiping and are now located. Zhongguancun Science Park in Haidian District, Beijing, covers an area of 133,000 square meters and a building area of 60,000 square meters. In April 2001, the construction plan of Bayi Middle School to bid for a demonstration high school was successfully passed the evaluation and demonstration of the expert group, and it entered the rank of “Beijing Model High School” in May 2003.
