2015年5月20日,《中国民族美术》创刊发布会暨第四届西部少数民族中青年美术家创作高研班开学典礼在中央民族大学举行。《中国民族美术》是由国家民族事务委员会主管、民族出版社和中央民族大学美术学院共同打造的艺术类专业期刊,2014年获得国家新闻出版广电总局的批复,正式创刊。发布会上,《中国民族美术》主编、中央民族大学副校长殷会利说,《中国民族美术》杂志以积累、传承民族艺术为宗旨,立足于少数民族美术的特色和优势,融挖掘、整理、研究、教育和研发于一体,强调立体的研究视角、开放的学术空间,以及“百花齐放、百家争鸣”的学术氛围。梳理少数民族美术的独特价值体系,深化理论研究,更新教育理念,努力发挥少数民族美术在当
