“和平统一、一国两制”是我们解决台湾问题的基本方针 ,在目前两岸政治问题没有解决之前 ,经济融合或许是实现两岸最终统一的最现实的办法。适逢两岸“入世”之机 ,笔者认为应该充分利用“一国四席”的特殊地位 ,从争议较小的贸易政策着手 ,采取一定的策略 ,突破两岸经济互动的困境 ,在WTO框架之下 ,构建包括香港、澳门在内的两岸自由贸易区 ,促进大陆经济与台湾经济的融合 ,以经济上的融合促成政治上的统一。
“Peaceful reunification and one country, two systems” are our basic guidelines for settling the Taiwan issue. Before the current cross-Strait political issues are not resolved, economic integration may be the most realistic way to achieve the ultimate reunification of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. As the two sides of the strait joined in WTO, I think we should make full use of the special status of “one country, four seats,” start with the less controversial trade policy and adopt certain tactics to break the plight of cross-Strait economic interaction. Under the WTO framework , Build a free trade area between the two sides of the strait including Hong Kong and Macao, promote the integration of the mainland economy and Taiwan’s economy, and promote political unity through economic integration.
