Since the discovery of neutrons for half a century, as people further study on neutrons, not only have they established an independent discipline, but neutron technology has also become an effective tool for studying other disciplines. Among them, low-energy neutron scattering, like x-ray and electron beam, is widely used in basic and applied science such as material science, physics, chemistry, geology, metallurgy and chemical engineering. It complements the x-ray and plays an important role in modern science and technology.
