在畲族民间文学中留下了许多充满女性文化的作品。这些作品通过塑造女性形象构筑起自己特有的女性文化特征:一、崇尚女神。二、崇拜女性祖先。三、视女性为智慧的化身。四、追求真爱。五、以勤劳勇敢为美。从中可见畲族女性的崇高地位和独立意识的自觉。在中国女性意识不断觉醒、女性文化日益繁荣的今天,回眸畲族民间文学中的女性文化,对于今天女性文化的兴起无疑具有诸多借鉴之处。
