渠县农乐石膏—硬石膏矿床位于川尔华芸山背斜北部倾伏端。背斜呈北东—南西向展布,次级构造较为复杂,形成一串左行雁列短轴背斜,断层不太发育。区域内广泛出露三叠系中统雷口坡组碳酸盐岩层。在雷口坡组下部和下三叠统嘉陵江组顶部普遍含有石膏矿。杂卤石岩即赋存于嘉陵江组顶部和雷口坡组底部的石膏矿层
Qu County Nongle Gypsum-anhydrite deposit is located at the dip of the northern part of the anticlinal part of the Chuanhua Huayama anticline. The anticline shows a north-east-south-west distribution and the secondary structure is rather complicated, forming a series of left-echelon epoch anticlines with less developed faults. The Triassic Central Leimenkou Formation Carbonate layer is widely exposed in the area. Gypsum ore is commonly found in the lower part of the Leikoupo Formation and the top of the Lower Triassic Jialingjiang Formation. The polyhalite rocks occur in the top of the Jialing River and the gypsum seam at the bottom of the Leikoupo Formation
