Lead plates have a significant absorption of radioactivity, but it is often difficult for schools to find larger plates. Nowadays, there are television radiation protection lead glass protection screens and lead glass protection screens for computer monitors. The use of these lead glass screens can demonstrate the absorption of lead by radioactivity and it works well. The experiment required a Geiger counter, a digital timer, and a radioactive source (using radioactive sources, square brackets, etc., supplied by Wilson Cloud Room).
