Objective To analyze the correlation between serum 25 (OH) D levels in newborn and third trimester of pregnancy. Methods A total of 183 singleton pregnant women and their newborns were enrolled from Shaoxing Maternity and Child Care Hospital during the 37th week of gestation from July to December in 2014. Serum levels of 25 (OH) D in pregnant women and newborns were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay Conduct correlation analysis. Results The mean levels of 25 (OH) D in pregnant women and neonates were (12.54 ± 5.13) and (12.19 ± 5.95) ng / L, respectively. The normal nutritional status of vitamin D was 7.65% and 10.93% And pregnant women with late pregnancy 25 (OH) D level was positively correlated (r = 0.60, P <0.01). Conclusion The levels of 25 (OH) D in newborns and pregnant women are significantly lower in late trimester. The level of 25 (OH) D in newborns is directly related to the third trimester of pregnancy.
