玉黄谷一号是我所1972年从地方品种玉黄谷中选出的优异天然突变单株,然后采用“一穗传”方法选育而成。玉黄谷一号幼苗茎叶绿色,秆高136厘米左右。谷穗呈圆筒形,穗长23厘米左右。穗码松紧适中,刺毛绿色,较短。黄谷黄米。单穗粒重20克左右,谷粒较大,千粒重4克左右,出米率较高,可达82％。全生育期120天,出苗到抽穗日数75天,抽穗至成熟为45天。虽然抽穗到成熟的时间较短,但干物质积累和运转的速度较快,成熟亦较早,秕谷率低。我区每年秋霜一般偏
