Wavelength 7.6-400 nm electromagnetic radiation as ultraviolet radiation, as in the solar spectrum in the visible part of the purple, it is also known as UV. In nature, the sun is the main source of ultraviolet radiation. In the production environment, where the temperature of an object is as high as 1200 ° C or more, ultraviolet rays can appear in the radiation spectrum, and as the temperature of the object increases, the wavelength of the ultraviolet light becomes shorter and its intensity also increases. Production operations in contact with ultraviolet light welding, gas welding, cutting, smelting furnace (open hearth, blast furnace), electric steelmaking and the application of mercury quartz lamp, searchlight, plate light, UV disinfection. UV wavelengths shorter than 160 nm can be fully absorbed by the air, only in a vacuum, meaningless.
