2012年12月7日至10目,由中国比较古典学学会主办、中山大学人文高等研究院承办、中国人民大学古典文明研究中心协办的“古典学与现代中国”暨中国比较古典学学会第一届年会在广东肇庆星湖大酒店隆重召开。来自全国各地40余所大学和科研机构的百余学者提交论文,分别在大会或分组会上宣读,内容涉及中西经典研究、世界史研究以及西方古典语言教学等多个方面。本届年会涉及的学科范围广、人员多,是一次跨学科协作研究的成功尝试,是我国比较古典研究领域具有里程碑意义的一次盛会。现根据提交的大会论文和会议发言,将会议讨论的主要问题综述如下。
From December 7 to December 10, 2012, hosted by China Society for Comparative Classical Studies, undertaken by Institute of Humanities Research of Sun Yat-sen University and co-hosted by Center for Classical Civilization of Renmin University of China, “Classical Studies and Modern China” and China Association of Comparative Classical Studies The first annual meeting in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Star Lake Hotel grand opening. More than 40 scholars from over 40 universities and research institutes across the country submitted their papers, which were respectively read out in the conference or in group meetings. They covered many aspects such as the study of Chinese and Western classics, the study of world history, and the teaching of Western classical languages. This year’s conference covered a wide range of disciplines and a large number of personnel. It is a successful attempt of interdisciplinary and collaborative research and a grand event of landmark comparative research in our country. Based on the submitted conference papers and presentations, the main issues discussed in the conference are summarized as follows.
