近来有人研制适用于大型更新式点阵显示的低占空系数电压脉冲驱动的直流场致发光屏[1]。这种屏用掺Cu,Mn的ZnS发射的5400A-6300A的黄光,在0.5%的占空系数下平均亮度为30~100呎朗伯,寿命性能良好(图1)。在本文中我们报道一种已研制成功的36个字符的更新式DCEL字符显示器,并进而探讨能显示1000个以上符号的大型更新式DCEL显示器的可能性。 36字符屏为层迭式结构,把一层40μm厚的ZnS磷光体涂在一排1 m m宽的SnO2平行电极上。SnO2的薄膜电阻为2Ω/每方,用光刻技术刻划成电极。在ZnS层上再蒸上一层铝膜,然后对这两层膜进行刻划,形成1 m m宽的Al-ZnS阵列,以实现显示器的X-Y寻址。最后将屏密封起来,以防止大气污染,用常规的形成工序使在ZnS-SnO2界面上产生光辐射势垒。
Recently, some people have developed a low duty cycle voltage pulse-driven DC electroluminescent panel suitable for large-scale updated dot matrix displays [1]. The screen with 5400A-6300A yellow light doped Cu, Mn ZnS emission, 0.5% duty cycle average brightness of 30 to 100 feet Rumbo, good life expectancy (Figure 1). In this article we report a 36-character, updated DCEL character display that has been developed and explored the possibility of a large, updated DCEL display capable of displaying more than 1,000 symbols. The 36-character screen is a layered structure with a layer of 40μm thick ZnS phosphor coated on a row of 1μm wide SnO2 parallel electrodes. SnO2 thin film resistance of 2Ω / each square, lithography technology engraved into electrodes. An additional layer of aluminum film is then deposited on the ZnS layer, and the two layers are then scored to form a 1 m wide Al-ZnS array for X-Y addressing of the display. Finally, the screen is sealed to prevent air pollution and a photo-radiation barrier is created at the ZnS-SnO2 interface using conventional forming processes.
