目前我国小学的“小学数学教学论”课程中经常使用整体教学这种教学方式。它以“整体课程”的理论为基础,从小学数学四大领域中的某一个典型内容的教学设计着手,给师范生提供整合的课程学习材料和研究性学习框架,同时还能明确学习目标和成绩评定标准。“小学数学教学论”整体教学的实施,其中包括选择教学设计的典型课题、组建学习共同体,提供课程材料、分工合作与交流以及学习评定等环节和过程。
