As a visiting scholar, I worked for several sports science institutes in the United States for some time. When I first arrived in the United States, a friend in the U.S. sports community told me warmly: “If you know the American way of life, you should first understand American sports.” The reason, he said: “There are many reasons, or are you But let me tell you a few facts: If the United States does not have so many sports at the moment, the number of television shows will drop by one-third, and the number of cars on the road will be reduced by a fifth ... ... ”At this time, I did not pay much attention to this and thought that this was mostly a career bias. With the increase of understanding of the United States, I finally came to the impression that sport is indeed an attractive link in the real life of the United States. From Miami on the east coast to Seattle on the west coast, many men, women and children in sportswear are seen.
