在当前信息通信技术飞速发展的背景下,科技对旅游业发展的推动作用成为不言而喻的重要课题。将旅游业发展置于世界旅游科技发展和中国转轨的大背景下,加快我国旅游业科技发展步伐更是具有战略意义的一大课题。我国旅游业目前还处于“靠天吃饭”、“体力劳动”阶段,旅游业发展的焦点较多地关注消费领域而忽视生产领域,致使旅游经济效益不高,企业竞争仍处于低级的价格竞争阶段。在信息技术飞速发展和知识竞争时代,当前的旅游业发展态势不利于其可持续发展。随着技术已在全球旅游业发展中扮演越来越重要的角色,而专利作为先进技术的载体,是衡量旅游业技术创新水平的重要指标,因此对专利技术的挖掘和利用对旅游业发展有着深刻的现实和理论意义。为此,本文提出将旅游业发展的视角转到旅游业生产领域,高度重视科技在旅游业发展中的重要作用,提高旅游业的技术水平,发展在线旅游业,加速旅游业专利技术商业化,这不仅是对旅游业研究领域的丰富,对促进旅游业发展也具有重要的现实意义。
